WEB LA28 Proposals: Five New Sports to Join the 2028 Olympic Games
New additions
In a move that has excited sports enthusiasts worldwide, the WEB LA28 Organizing Committee has proposed five additional sports for inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games. These sports, which have been officially approved, are:
- Baseball/Softball
- Cricket T20
- Flag Football
- Lacrosse Sixes
- Squash
Permanent additions
In addition to these new sports, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has also announced that skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing, which were previously optional sports, will become permanent events starting in 2028.
