BLACKPINK’s Lisa is all set to make history as the first K-pop soloist to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and she has been giving fans a sneak peek into her preparation.
On August 25, Lisa took to Instagram to share a series of photos and videos of herself rehearsing for her performance. In the photos, Lisa can be seen practicing her dance moves and singing along to her song “LALISA”. She also shared a video of herself getting her hair and makeup done.
In the caption, Lisa wrote, “D-4 until the VMAs! I’m so excited to perform for you guys. I’ve been working really hard on my performance, and I hope you’ll enjoy it.”
Fans were quick to react to Lisa’s post, expressing their excitement for her performance. Many also praised Lisa for her dedication and hard work.

Lisa is set to perform at the VMAs on August 28. She is nominated for two awards, including Best K-Pop and Song of the Summer.
