DFB and UEFA establish joint venture EURO 2024 GmbH

Joint venture to handle preparations for the 2024 UEFA European Championship in Germany

New company will be responsible for all aspects of hosting the tournament

The German Football Association (DFB) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) have founded a joint venture company called EURO 2024 GmbH. The new company will be responsible for all aspects of hosting the 2024 UEFA European Championship in Germany, including stadium planning and construction, marketing and ticketing, and media and hospitality.

The joint venture was announced at a press conference in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on Thursday, April 28, 2022. DFB President Bernd Neuendorf and UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin were present at the press conference.

“We are very excited to be working with UEFA on this joint venture,” said Neuendorf. “We believe that EURO 2024 will be a great success, and we are committed to making it the best possible experience for fans, players, and teams.”

“We are confident that EURO 2024 GmbH will be a successful partnership between the DFB and UEFA,” said Ceferin. “We have a lot of experience in hosting major football tournaments, and we are looking forward to working together to make EURO 2024 a memorable event.”

The 2024 UEFA European Championship will be the 17th edition of the tournament. It will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The tournament will feature 24 teams, and the matches will be played in 10 cities across Germany.
