CSC Announces Job Screening for Basic Law Knowledge

Examination Scheduled for June 2024

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced that all applicants for civil service positions will be assessed on their knowledge of the Basic Law and the Hong Kong National Security Law.

The comprehensive recruitment examination and Basic Law and Hong Kong National Security Law test will tentatively take place on June 1, 2024, or on other dates within June 2024 if necessary. The application period ended on April 5, 2024, at 5:00 PM Hong Kong time.

The CSC has also released the results of the Career Service Examination - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held nationwide on March 3, 2024.
